Afterburner Inc. Partners with RBFF to Focus on Strategic Planning and Organizational Unity

Non-Profit Conservancy Foundation Seeks Afterburner’s Flawless ExecutionSM Methods to Align Teams

Atlanta, GA – February 04, 2010 – The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF), a non-profit organization based in Alexandria, VA, partnered with Afterburner Inc. to develop and focus on long-range strategic planning initiatives in June 2009. Afterburner facilitators, skilled in implementing Flawless ExecutionSM methods, aided a diverse team of 32 representatives, providing unity and focus to RBFF and its various stakeholders to increase public participation and awareness of boating and fishing through 2013.

RBFF, tasked to increase participation in recreational angling and boating, is working to increase public awareness and appreciation of protecting, conserving and restoring the nation’s aquatic natural resources.

Afterburner’s Flawless ExecutionSM methods in place, RBFF now has a way to carry out these tasks successfully. Afterburner’s collaborative approach to strategic planning and development proved critical to developing a long range plan that considered RBFF’s unique structure and mission. The effort required collaboration from a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, state fish and wildlife agencies, representatives from the National Marine Manufacturers Association, the American Sport Fishing Association, the Sport Fishing and Boating Partnership Council, and retailers of boating and fishing equipment.
