Alex “Bert” Bertelli is an experienced international economic development specialist, entrepreneur, and military officer. He graduated from Initial Entry Rotary Wing training in 2006 as the Distinguished Graduate and was selected for special assignment to the 160th SOAR (A) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. During his time there he served in positions of increasing responsibility to include company commander, liaison officer, and MH-47G Fully Mission Qualified Pilot & Air Mission Commander. He deployed 9 times to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Europe in support of special operations forces and the national mission force. In 2014, he left active duty to serve in the TN Dept. of Economic and Community Development for 3 years as a Director of Business Development working to locate businesses for the state. Alex is the CEO of his own security technology company creating innovative security solutions for residential and commercial markets. Alex is also the Principal of a Global Site Selection Firm that helps companies expand their business into new markets and locations.

Alex graduated from the University of Dayton with a BS in Finance as a Distinguished Military Graduate and received his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2005, Alex was selected by the Army Aviation Association of America as its #1 ROTC 2nd Lieutenant out of 4,500 officers. He is rated in 5 different aircraft, is a recipient of the George C. Marshall Leadership award, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and the Boeing Rescue award.
