The Afterburner Rapid Response Program
Execution Setup: Discovery, Mission Planning and Team Alignment
Within the first 24 hours, we capture real-time, critical insights from across key stakeholders and your entire organization through a series of Virtual Debriefs. The analysis of these findings inform the strategic decisions and priorities that are made in the formulation of your post-pandemic strategy to mitigate new threats and capitalize on new opportunities that have emerged. The mission priorities are set and teams are aligned behind a clearly communicated plan for success.
Execution Rhythm is Established
Over the course of the next several weeks, teams build a new execution rhythm that starts with a Mission Brief that drives focus and individual accountability among all participates. Everyone knows who is doing what, by when. X-Gaps meetings occur mid-week to help teams maintain situational awareness and proactively respond to pop-up threats and opportunities that may impact the mission. Each week wraps up with team members sharing real-time Lessons Learned and successes so the team can iterate, adapt, and stay ahead of the rate of change.
At the end of the 30-day window, the mission team conducts a full debrief of the mission to help investigate root causes for success and failures during the Execution phase to ensure Lessons Learned are put into practice for the next iteration on the new strategy and a positive, lasting impact is achieved to drive further inspiration and excellence across the team.
Support throughout the Mission
Afterburner experts provide an underlying support network through personalized, 1:1 coaching with the mission leader and equip stakeholders with a Mission Status Tracker dashboard to help monitor progress and quickly troubleshoot any bottleneck areas that may need assistance. In addition, mission team members get access to Afterburner’s Accelerator Academy for 12-months to support the long-term adoption of the common mental model that the Rapid Response program establishes.
